Bonfante & Chiarle Barbera d’Asti Duelilu 750 ML

Barbera is typically marked by flavors of red cherry, raspberry or blackberry and backed by a signature zingy acidity. Warmer sites produce Barberas with intensely ripe fruit and complex notes of cocoa, savory spice, anise and nutmeg. Cooler sites will produce a lighter Barbera with more finesse and intriguing notes of cranberry, graphite, smoke, lavender and violet.

The Bonfante & Chiarle winery was founded in 1975 in Mombaruzzo by Luciano Chiarle, Giorgio Chiarle, and Domenico Bonfante, following in the footsteps of their ancestors, who were all winemakers and for whom viticulture was their passion and their life. The story of Bonfante & Chiarle begins begins in the hills of Monferrato. From the very beginning, its entrepreneurial adventure focused on the search for constant and certified quality, based on a good relationship with the territory and a profound passion for quality wine. Surrounded by estate vineyards and by those it directly manages in Monferrato, Langhe, Roero, and Gaviese, Bonfante & Chiarle grew, guaranteeing a constant and secure source for high quality grapes to use in the production of classic Piedmontese wines.
