Granito handily translates from the Portuguese as 'Granite' - this stunning, minerally white blend comes from the high central hills of the Dao regions, just to the south the Douro Valley, which are laden with granitic soils\n \n The energy and tension oft seen with whites off granite soils is incredibly evident here. This blend of local grapes Encruzado, Bical and Sercial, bounces with citric bite, floral aromatics and delights in a salty crunchy finish. It's like a vinous Margarita.\n \n There's some cloudy haze in this unfined and unfiltered release. It's a beltingly-good wine.
