Offers a refreshing change from the every day. Its rich aroma and full bodied taste make DRYSACK from Spain perfect before dinner, after dinner, or anytime.\n \n Producer Information\n Bodegas Williams & Humbert was founded in 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams, a great admirer and connoisseur of sherry products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international relations. One could call this a traditional Sherry firm with their history intrinsicallywoven into the history of the region. So much so that they participated in the creation of the Jerez-Xérès-Brandy Quality Demarcation. In 1920 Guido Williams set aside part of the must of the year in order to mark the birth of a member of the family. Ever since, Williams & Humbert have maintained the tradition to the present day, reserving part of the must of the year for their collection, the oldest and most complete in the Jerez Region, certified by the Regulating Council of the Denomination of Origin of Sherry. In 2001 Williams & Humbert began to experiment with a line of biologically aged vintage sherry, resulting in Fino en Rama Vintage 2006; the first vintage fino launched onto the market. This exciting project is under the young generation leadership of winemaker Paola Medina Sheldon. The Williams Colleción is a series of astonishingly delicate and singular Finos and Olorosos - statically-aged single-vintage wines, with terroir as important as bodega influences. Paola mainly takes fruit from the 'las Conchas' vineyard within Pago Añina and some old vines in Pago Carrascal.
