Vins Pepe Raventos Bastard Negre de les Terrasses del Serral is a rare, small-production red wine from Penedès, Catalonia. It is produced entirely from Bastard Negre, an old local grape variety also associated with Morastell and Graciano. The grapes come from biodynamically farmed, low-yielding vines planted in 1974 on poor limestone soils. Natural fermentation with native yeasts and minimal-intervention winemaking produce a distinctive wine with freshness, savory complexity and a strong expression of its vineyard.
