      Val do Galir Mencia 2019 is an expressive Spanish red wine produced by Virgen del Galir in the Valdeorras region of Galicia. Made primarily from Mencia grapes grown on steep, slate-rich vineyard terraces around the village of Entoma, the wine is matured for approximately ten months in oak barrels. It offers concentrated dark-fruit character balanced by freshness, fine tannins, mineral notes, spice, and a long, dry finish.

      Aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, violets, slate, forest herbs and baking spices. The palate is juicy and medium-bodied with fresh acidity, silky tannins, dark berry flavors, subtle earthiness and a long, dry mineral finish.
