Verite embodies the timeless traditions of France and the limitless possibilities of California. Vigneron Pierre Seillan carefully crafts each blend from a mosaic of more than 50 micro-crus. Each micro-cru is harvested and fermented separately, then aged in French oak barrels of various custom toasts. Seillan carefully tailors his winemaking techniques and oak regimens to the personality of each lot, providing him with hundreds of unique components to form the architecture of La Muse, La Joie

and Le Desir. Verite, French for “truth,” embodies the timeless traditions of France and the limitless possibilities of California. Since 1998, Verite has produced premium Bordeaux blends sourced entirely from mountain and hillside vineyards located in the Bennett Valley, Alexander Valley, Chalk Hill and Knights Valley appellations in Sonoma County. The wines are a marriage of old-world expertise and new-world fruit, crafted by sixth generation French Vigneron Pierre Seillan along with his daughter and assistant Vigneron Helene Seillan. Pierre and Helene take the upmost care with every step of the viticultural and winemaking process, working closely with each vineyard manager to farm each block precisely. Verite produces three wines: La Muse, a Merlot-based blend, La Joie, a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend, and Le Desir, a Cabernet Franc-based blend. Verite wines are made for longevity and can mature 20-30+ years.
