This wine is renown to be intense and powerful but I tend to disagree. In my opinion the strongest thing in this wine is the colour. The rest, is elegant above all. Sunctuous. Delicate. Extremely well rounded. In nose, delicately collected black forest fruit. Mineral. Mouth entry point is sweet and silky gaining volume along mouth. Not sure about persistance but it is long. If you are looking for a modern and quality work on 100% Tempranillo in Rioja, try this one.

Tasting Notes
Last night party wine! If that price is right this wine has really good value. Too busy for detailed notes. Smokey nose with dark cherry, Earth and tobacco. This one surprised me actually!
