Tasting Notes

Brilliant ruby-red. Ripe red fruit, coconut, vanilla and a subtle herbal nuance on the nose. Oak-spiced cherry and vanilla flavors show good depth and a touch of bitterness on the back half. Supple tannins frame the finish, which strongly echoes the vanilla note. There's plenty of fruit here, but the lumber is leading the way right now; I wonder if a couple more years might tame it.
