On the edge of the coastline, Château de l’Hospitalet overlooks the Mediterranean by a hundred meters. Benefiting from a semi-arid Mediterranean climate, with mild winter variations, the vineyard enjoys exceptional climatic conditions: the Mediterranean heat and sunshine are mitigated by the altitude, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly, an ideal condition for a beautiful aromatic expression of the wines and tannins.
Limited edition of 15,000 bottles, it features the work of Robert Combas, “le vin de nos paysages”. In this painting by Robert Combas, setting and subject become one: nature, magnified by its insects, flowers and vines, blends into a renewed mythology, in the image of the painter’s overflowing creativity. With this Vin de nos paysages, Robert Combas tells us that at the Domaine de l’Hospitalet, the bottle counts as much as the intoxication, and that the place where the grapes are harvested and the enchantment they bring are two sides of the same joy. The two dominant blues at the top and bottom of the painting plunge the feet of our three goddesses into the blue of the Mediterranean and cast their eyes towards the azure of the sky: Robert Combas stretches our sensations and emotions between these two infinities.
