Tasting Notes
PnP. Color is garnet fading to red with a touch of purple with just a hint of orange at the edge. Aromas of violet, cherry, and a bit of wet dirt. On the palate light cherry, some savory herbs, light+ body, medium- to medium acid, light+ acid, a bit linear 10-15 minutes after opening. Drinking with dinner of chicken cutlets with an herb crust and green beans with almonds. With the food the light body and brighter acid come out. The wine did not completely fill out over about 90 minutes. We thought the flavors were all quite good, but the wine did not make it to great.
