Tasting Notes
Freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries, cinnamon and the essence of Sangiovese fruit all lift from the glass effortlessly, while silky tannins convey an overall impression of finesse. The style is a bit lean and classically austere, but that is what is to be expected in a cooler area. If the 2013 gains a bit more depth in bottle it might merit a higher score in the future.
