Tasting Notes
Grassy, green aromas are a big part of the nose, which also includes black fruits. This Carmen?re feels grabby and tannic, and thus tight. Grass, alfalfa and black plum flavors finish with a wave of spicy oak. If you know the variety in its Chilean form, this should be familiar.?MICHAEL SCHACHNER
