Today it might be most well associated with the red blends of the Southern?Rh?ne, namely?Ch?teauneuf-du-Pape,?C?tes du Rh?ne?and its?Villages. Tasting Notes
French expertise combines with Chilean soil and history to give this Malbec purity and balance, with complexity, depth and concentration, owed to the old vines. 60 year old dry farmed vines benefit from stark diurnal temperature variations yield the superb quality grapes for this wine. Primary fermentation was performed in 28 days with long maceration in small cement tanks. Aged in French oak for 9 months. The wine was not filtered nor clarified prior to bottling in order to preserve the wine's authentic character.
