Val di Suga Rosso di Montalcino 2023 is an elegant and approachable Tuscan red made entirely from Sangiovese grapes grown in younger vineyards on the southwestern slopes of Montalcino. Mediterranean influences help produce a vibrant wine with aromas of ripe cherries, redcurrants and raspberries, complemented by subtle sweet spice. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and refined, with silky tannins and a juicy, lingering finish. It is aged for approximately six months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
