Peter Michael L’Esprit des Pavots 2022 is a luxurious Bordeaux-style red blend produced from the winery’s estate vineyards in Oakville, Napa Valley, and Knights Valley, Sonoma County. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine combines concentrated dark fruit with polished tannins and refined oak influence.

The 2022 vintage presents cassis, black cherry, ripe plum and blackberry aromas, complemented by black olive, black tea, violet, graphite and baking spices. Its soft entry develops into a rich, full-bodied palate with generous tannins, balanced acidity and a long, elegant finish. Although approachable while young, it has the structure to develop further with careful cellaring.
