      The 2023 M. Étain is the companion wine to Scarecrow, produced from the historic J.J. Cohn Estate vineyard in Rutherford, Napa Valley. The blend consists of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 5% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. It was matured for approximately 18 months in French oak, including about 60% new barrels. The wine combines concentrated dark fruit with polished tannins, freshness and excellent aging potential.

      Aromas of ripe blue and purple fruits with vanilla and oak-derived spice. Broad, smooth and full-bodied on the palate, with velvety tannins, perfumed berry fruit, dark chocolate, graphite and espresso notes.
