100% Nero d`Avola from the Sicilian estate of Principi di Butera in the province of Caltanisetta. Dark ruby red with a bouquet of almond blossom, violets and hints of myrtle, followed by a delicate spiciness and balsamic notes. Dry on the palate with a fine structure and good persistence. The pleasant floral and balsamic notes perceived on the nose are perfectly matched on the palate. This glorious Sicilian red takes its name `Amìra` from the Arab `amîr`, meaning `prince`, and is a nod to the island`s rich history.
