This sparkling wine from the province of Treviso, in the Northern Italian region of Veneto, is light to medium-bodied and meant to be consumed in its youth to enjoy its liveliness and freshness, most commonly as an aperitif.\n \n Once the glera grapes have been harvested, they are transported to the winery where specially designed machinery presses the grapes very gently so that only the free-run juice from the heart of the grape is extracted.
