As a champion of small farmers and sites of individuality, we are proud to represent Trenel. Claude-Henri Trenel established the firm that bears his name in the late 1920s. After World War II, his son Andre took the foundation provided him and began a long career seeking to enlighten people about the delightful wines of Beaujolais and Macon, Burgundys most southerly point. Andre tirelessly promoted the crus of Beaujolais and previously unheralded communes of Macon, and is now considered one of the leading historic figures of the region. Fruit centered with sense of place; wines that are fresh and alive and oozing with personality. The 'Hommage' efforts are a debut and taste of a time gone by.
