This wine is sourced from a single parcel of an organic coastal vineyard called Pago BalbaÃna, which has a pure white albariza soil. The grapes are harvested by hand at night and fermented in oak vats with 90% whole cluster fermentation and 10% de-stemmed. The wine spends 10 months in 40% oak vat and 60% concrete tank of 6,000L followed by additional 8 months in used French oak barrels of 225 liters before bottling. The wine has aromas and flavors of dark berries, floral notes, spice, and blood oranges with silken tannins.
