Altocedro Ano Cero Tempranillo 2021 750 ML

The somewhat reductive 2018 Ano Cero Tempranillo was produced with a variety that was always quite popular in La Consulta. This needed some time in the glass to open up to a smoky and floral nose that was perfumed and attractive with very integrated oak (only one third of the volume was put in barrel for some ten months). It's very tasty and juicy. The tannins are fine and chalky, and the finish is serious, fresh and clean. An impressive Tempranillo; it's young and expressive, with the balance to become more elegant in bottle. 20,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2019.
