The Marey and Liger-Belair families have been involved with the vineyards, sale, and trade of Burgundian wines for well over a century, but it was not until 2001 that Thibault Liger-Belair created Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair to exploit the family's historic and noteworthy vineyards.Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair's portfolio of domaine wines (vineyards owned by the estate) covers ten wines from six different appellations, including Vosne-Romanée (the Richebourg Grand Cru and Aux Réas), Vougeot (the Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot), Nuits-Saint-Georges (Premier Cru Les Saint-Georges and the La Charmotte site) and Gevrey-Chambertin (the La Croix des Champs vineyard).
