It presents itself with great elegance and charm with precise aromas, imposing but very fine tannins and great length.\n \n Producer Information\n Lindeman's is a large wine producer based in Australia's Hunter Valley. It is well known for its extensive portfolio of easy, ready-to-drink wines, covering still, sparkling and sweet wines from a range of classic Australian grape varieties like Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon. Henry Lindeman was born in 1811 in Surrey, England. He fell in love with wine while traveling through Europe, and moved to Australia in 1840 to explore winemaking. In 1843, he planted Riesling, Verdelho and Shiraz vines on his 330-hectare (816-acre) property in the Hunter Valley. Unfortunately in 1850 an arsonist burned down the winery and cellar, and Lindeman was forced to work as a doctor in the nearby gold mines to regain his fortune. The winery was rebuilt and the first Lindeman wines were exported to the UK in 1858. The company has expanded significantly since, adding vineyards in the Barossa, Coonawarra, Padthaway and Clare Valley to its holdings. The Lindeman portfolio is significant, covering wines across a range of regions, grape varieties, styles and price points. The top wines include the Limestone Ridge Cabernet – Shiraz, the Pyrus Bordeaux blend, and the St. George Cabernet Sauvignon. The Bin Series is Lindeman's largest and most easily recognizable range, and includes grape varieties as disparate as Shiraz and Moscato. Lindeman's is part of the extensive Treasury Wine Estates (often abbreviated to "TWE") portfoilo of wine
