The history of the estate goes back to the 16th century after the prelate of the pontifical government, had its headquarters in Carpentras. He built the bastide on a Tuscan-style, according to its origins. The religious character of the building is still present by its interior chapel dating from this period as well as the mighty pergola made from 40 pillars made from Crillon stone, leading to a spring flowing under a centenary oak, favourable to prayer and meditation.\n\nThe Chateau la Croix des Pins was one of the first in the areas to obtain the "Organic" label in 1998.\n\nSince 2010, a new team led by Jean-Pierre Valade, regain control of the vineyard. He gave a new life to the Chateau la Croix des Pins and seeks excellence in the elaboration of its wines. The vineyard as been restructured and new grape varieties were planted. An exceptional ageing cellar with barrels was created and new equipment as been installed to make selections and separate different grape varieties to reach our goals. \n\nThe house, now entirely rebuilt, shelters two lodgings great comfort, classified 4 stars with swimming pool, each one with a capacity of 6 beds. \n\nA clear and spacious tasting area, labeled "reception of excellence" was also created. You can enjoy the whole range of Red, Rose and White wines produced by Chateau la Croix des Pins on the 3 appellations on the Rhone Valley : AOP Ventoux, Gigondas and Beaumes de Venise.
