Dark purple in color, this is a fruit driven style with good supporting tannin structure. The nose is just gorgeous, with pepper, licorice and clove spice all playing beautifully off of the dark cherry fruit that jumps out of the glass. Medium fuller to fuller bodied, the palate is seamless, with engaging suppleness offering lifted dark cherry, black plum and black raspberry fruit thats bright and juicy with just the right tannin tension on the backend to firm everything up perfectly.
