Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2021 750 ML

Guava, passion fruit, waxy citrus and green herbs comprise the nose on this pungent, youthful Sauvignon. The mouthfeel is slippery yet chalky and has lifted—though thankfully not overly shrill—acidity and the beginnings of a lovely texture, carving the juicy fruit through to the finish. Give this another six to eight months for all that acidity and sulfur to settle, and then drink over the next few years.\n \n Producer Information\n The edge of the Wairau River is a special place for growing grapes. A place where soil, climate and terrain combine to help produce outstanding wines. Phil and Chris Rose established their vineyards here in 1978 and today the extended Rose family produce some of the best wines Marlborough has to offer.
