Like the dazzling dance of light from a diamond studded crown, our Shiraz from Washington state vineyards is intriguing. We start with great vineyards, carefully tend the fruit and then harvest it to make a gem of a wine. Luscious raspberry jam, leather and pepper flavors finish with a touch of honey. After harvest, the grapes were destemmed and crushed. Fermentation lasted seven days on the skins with a daily pumpover regime. After fermentation the wine was aged for 16 months in a combination of neutral American oak, French oak, and New American oak.
