The 2019 Tintilla Balbaína is a little juicier and has more volume than the 2018, but it's still elegant, aromatic and spicy. This vineyard reflects the character of the vintage quite faithfully, and 2019 is a little riper, despite the alcohol level being very similar (13.5%). And the process is similar: fermentation with some 60% full clusters and aging in used barrels for 12 months. 2,900 bottles produced. 2019 was a more concentrated and lower-yielding year.
