Louis Jadot Pommard 2021 750 ML

With Volnay to the south and Beaune to the north, Pommard is situated on an east- and southeast-facing slope between 240 and 380 meters above sea level with a high-clay, calcareous soil. The grapes are handpicked and sorted, then undergo fermentation. Composed of fruit from multiple terroirs within the appellation, assembled to represent the unique character of this prestigious village. After a long maceration, a proportion of the wine is set to age in French oak barrels. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration. Production is consistent with other Jadot red wines: fermentation with natural yeasts, aging in barrels (1/3 new) for 16 months.
