A second wave of wood spice controls the finish. \n \n Producer Information \n Luis Felipe Edwards (LFE) is a major Chilean wine producer, located in the Colchagua Valley. It was founded in 1976 by Luis Felipe Edwards Sr., when he purchased an old wine estate within its own valley at Puquillay. Expansion was prolific throughout the 80's and 90's with the portfolio now featuring a large array of brands and wine styles and has become the largest family-owned wine company in Chile. The vineyard holdings of LFE total over 2000 hectares (4942 acres) throughout multiple regions including the Colchagua, Maule and Leyda valleys. Today, the company remains family-owned and exports wine to over 100 diffferent countries around the world.
