Lagavulin Offerman Edition Charred Oak Cask Single Malt 11 Year
The Lagavulin Offerman Edition Charred Oak Cask is now available. Nick like everything related to wood, Lagavulin, and meat. These three interests come together to create a whisky that is distinctive and delicious. We gathered interesting American White Oak casks that had previously contained either wine or scotch, with a few European Oak ones tossed in for culture. The interiors of the casks were heavily re-charred after being heavily shaved down, and then we filled them with our golden 11-year single malt whisky to mature. a whisky that goes well with any medium-rare steak. This whisky not only stands out on its own, but also brings out and intensifies the flavors of the ideal steak. It has undertones of vanilla, red berries, sea salt brine, and Lagavulin's distinctive smoke.

The Oak Cask was very pleasing to the palate and very smooth. The Caribbean rum 11 was not as flavorful; it was more of an after-dinner type of Scotch, I would say. Both were very good, however.
