The estate was founded in 2007 by Joseph Carr, who named it after his father, a US Army soldier and a volunteer firefighter. The Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon was the inaugural wine from the brand, sourced from vineyards throughout Sonoma and Napa Valley.
