The position is excellent: overlooking the sea, at the feet of the characteristic rolling hills of Bolgheri, with southwestern exposure. No newcomer to Bolgheri, Fabio has worked for many years with esteemed Bolgheri producer Michele Satta, who is also his father-in-law. Fabio’s wines respect and reflect the characteristic traits of the Bolgheri terroir, interpreted within the unique frame of each vintage. In the cellar, Fabio works in a simple way, following his philosophy of “non-interference,” using natural yeasts and no filtering, crafting wines which excel in elegance and complexity rather than power and concentration.
