Our 2021 vintage began with a late budbreak that evolved into an early bloom, while temperatures fluctuated throughout the spring. Harvest arrived early and flew by, with most fruit picked between late August and mid-September. Despite these fickle events, and the persistent drought affecting lower yields, fruit quality was stellar, concentrated, and richly perfumed. Resplendent in both concentration and depth, the grapes presented a beautiful acid balance and complexity that hinted at abundant treasures within. As we nurtured the wine along its journey through tanks and time, the promise of this exceptional harvest was realized, producing a lush, deeply aromatic wine of intense character. We eagerly anticipate the joy of sharing this gem from our exceptional 2021 vintage.
