The White Cru, Colmatìss Sauvignon is a single vineyard wine that comes from three small distinct plots located in Cividale del Friuli from vines planted in the 80's. Strictly following the Friulian winemaking tradition, the must obtained after a gentle crushing undergoes fermentation and ages sur lie in big Slavonian oak barrels with frequent batonnage. Pale yellow and brilliant greenish hues. Truly rich aromatic with elegant green and fruity notes: sage, mint, yellow peaches and lychees are combined with exotic fruits and grapefruit laying on a mineral basis. The intriguing palate with flavors enhanced by a delicate salty sensation is well combined with the lively acidity crossing the compact structure inviting for another sip.
