Maison Foucher was established in 1921 by the dynamic Paulin Lebrun. Originally a cooper, he started growing his business by selling wine in his barrels to local cafes and restaurants. Today, the wines of Maison Foucher are represented by director Marc Vappereau. Most of the wines produced are organic or certified ‘High Environmental Value’.
Maison Foucher's Cuvee des Roys de Naples Cremant is lean, fresh, complex, and medium-full in body, with crisp acidity, a frothy mousse of small bubbles, and a long finish. The soft palate gives flavors of green and yellow apple, pear, lemon, quince, flinty minerality, nectarine, and a touch of bread dough. Pair with a nice charcuterie, fresh seafood, or triple creamed cheese, or serve as a great Brunch wine.
