This is a sunshine-soaked, juicy-fruited South Aussie Cab that offers a backbone of tobacco leaf, graphite and spice to support the abundance of berries on both the nose and the palate. Tannins are textured and temper the fruit plushness, but it's hard to get a sense of place or personality here. A straightforward yet appealing red.
