Intense light golden yellow/green. Layered Burgundian bouquet of smouldering fire with crisp yellow fruit, white peach and not-so-sweet honey. Incredibly rich in taste with masses of fruit (apple, yellow grapefruit and plum), grip and smoky/stony Douro power. With an excellent freshness and subtly toasted oak (brioche and vanilla). Beautiful tension and enormous length. Fans out widely in the midriff with a stony/mineral finish. The Meursault 1er Cru from Portugal! Very well made. 12% alc. Matured for 9 months in French oak barriques (50% new). 'Field blend' of Viosinho, Rabigato, Codega and Gouveio (50-80 year old vines). Only 2330 bottles produced.
