Domaine Jean Marc and Hugues Pavelot Savigny Les Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavieres 2023 is a refined single-vineyard red Burgundy made entirely from Pinot Noir. Les Lavières is a south and southeast-facing Premier Cru vineyard with limestone-rich soils and excellent drainage. The domaine’s parcel was planted in 1937 and produces only a limited quantity each year.

The 2023 vintage displays expressive blackberry, red cherry, wild hedgerow, violet and black-pepper notes. The palate is balanced and delicately spiced, with fresh acidity, fine tannins, mineral character and a poised, persistent finish.
