Papa’s Pilar Rum Spanish Sherry Cask Rum is a premium rum that is inspired by the adventures of Ernest Hemingway and his yacht Pilar. It is a blend of rums from the Virgin Islands, where the oldest component is 24 years old, and aged in several types of casks, including bourbon, port, and sherry Oloroso wine. It has a copper color and a confected aroma with notes of neapolitan ice cream sundae, chocolate strawberries and cherries, orange marmalade, and waffles with syrup and honey butter. It has a silky, vibrant, off-dry medium-to-full body and a tingling palate with notes of chocolate orange peels, grand marnier, and pink pepper. It has a long and spicy finish.
