Soft and sweet toasted oak, ripe stone fruits, apple butter and vanilla candies slowly waft from the glass with the ripe fruit notes becoming more dominant as it sits and breathes. The palate is soft and mouth-coating with a rich brown sugar and caramel that overall turns the flavor a touch darker as sweet spices come into play and add depth to the fruit. The finish is quite lengthy and sweet with lingering caramel, vanilla, and soft oak. Absolutely gorgeous whiskey.
