Laphroaig Cairdeas White Port & Madeira Casks is a bold and limited-edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky released as part of Laphroaig’s annual Cairdeas series created for Friends of Laphroaig members. Matured initially in bourbon barrels and finished in White Port and Madeira wine casks, this expression delivers a unique fusion of sweet fruit richness and classic Islay peat smoke. The whisky opens with aromas of campfire smoke, honey, dried apricot, citrus peel, sea salt, and toasted nuts. The palate is rich and smoky with layers of caramelized fruit, vanilla, dark toffee, spice, medicinal peat, and maritime salinity leading into a long warming finish with sweet wine-cask complexity and signature Laphroaig intensity.
