Fuenteseca 7 Year Old Extra Anejo Reserva is a tequila that is made from 100% blue agave harvested in 2010 from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave was cooked in stone ovens and fermented with natural yeast. The tequila was then distilled in copper pot stills and aged for seven years in a combination of American white oak barrels that previously held California red wine (80%) and dark French oak barrels (20%). The result is a complex and rich tequila that showcases the agave flavor with hints of oak, fruit, caramel, and spice.
