Protos Gran Reserva750 ML

Protos Gran Reserva is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. It is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, which are grown in small parcels of very old vines (over 60 years old). The grapes are harvested manually and fermented in stainless steel vats with daily battonage. The wine is then aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels, mostly new. After aging in barrels, the wine is aged for an additional 36 months in bottle before being released to the market.The wine undergoes a careful selection of grapes from old vines, which contribute to its depth and complexity. Expect ripe black fruit flavours such as blackberry and black cherry, along with hints of plum and currant. These fruity notes are complemented by well-integrated oak, providing layers of vanilla, spice, and subtle toasted nuances.
