Aromatics of this incredibly floral wine begin with notes of jasmine, snap pea, and orange flowers. The intense aromas are met with ripe Meyer lemon, lively passion fruit, and hints of kiwi on the palate. This classic Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc shows wonderful acidity with bright and precise notes of lime juice on the long mouthwatering finish.\n \n Producer Information\n Amici Cellars (pronounced ah-me-chee) is a Napa Valley wine producer, located in the foothills of the Palisades rock formations in Calistoga. The family-owned business produces a portfolio of varietal wines sourced from various notable vineyards throughout the valley. Amici Cellars was founded by Jeff Hansen in 1991 after producing a successful wine from a few tons of grapes with a small group of friends. Amici means "friends" in Italian and upon inception the slogan "created by friends for friends" was coined in commemoration. The company has since had several owners and today, Bob Shepard and John Harris are proprietors. Grapes are sourced from multiple different AVAs (American Viticultural Area) including Rutherford, Spring Mountain District, Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Calistoga. Amici Cellars produced both a Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon from one of the most famous vineyards in Napa To Kalon. Other notable plots include Morisoli in Rutherford and Missouri Hopper in Oakville. In the winery, Amici focuses on small batch winemaking. Each plot is kept seperate throughout fermentation and aging to allow for maximum control in the blending process. French oak is employed for both barrel fermentation and maturation. Olema is the collection of wines produced as Amici Cellar's sister brand.
