The entry-level Sauvignon of this well-respected estate, it's a creamy, fruity little number with boisterous peach, grapefruit and lime on the nose and a side helping of grass, bell pepper and dried herbs. There's richness on the palate with somewhat shrill acidity. But there's relative harmony overall and a long limy finish.\n \n Producer Information\n Twin Islands is a range of wines produced by the Marlborough-based and family-owned Nautilus Estate winery in Blenheim, New Zealand. Nautilus has been producing Twin Islands since 1992. The wines are designed to be fresh, enjoyable and easy-drinking with no time in bottle necessary. There are two wines in the range. The most well-known (and most regularly produced) is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc which, like most New Zealand wines, is sealed under screwcap. A Brut Non-Vintage sparkling wine has also been released under the label, made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir – two of the varieties that traditionally make up Champagne.
