The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Marques de Casa Concha also has a 12% dash of a mixture of other reds from Alto Maipo and was aged for 16 months in barrels and foudres. Garnet red in hue with a nose of spice, herbs, bay leaf and dark fruit, it's compact and juicy on the palate with precise, polished tannins before the pleasantly fruity finish.\n Producer Information\n Marques de Casa Concha is a Chilean winery and premium brand of the largest South American producer and distributor, Concha y Toro. Casa Concha is known for single-vineyard, estate-bottled wines from different appellations throughout the country, the most prominent being a Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto. The brand was launched in 1976 by Concha y Toro, itself a historic winery founded in 1883 by the Marquis Melchor de Concha y Toro. The 1972 Cabernet Sauvignon from Puente Alto was the first wine released under the Marques de Casa Concha label and has continued to be the range's flagship. It has been received well by critics, especially vintages from the early 2000s onwards. In the late 1980s, new varieties were introduced to the range beginning with a Chardonnay and a Merlot. Marques de Casa Concha sources the grapes for each wine from different DOs with the stated goal of expressing the differences in the various Chilean viticultural regions.
