Marc Bredif is owned and operated by the Baron de Ladoucette. The key to any de Ladoucette wine is quality in the vineyard, the winery and the bottle. The wines are made in the state-of-the art winery within the landmark Chateau du Nozet and are considered to be some of the finest examples of their type. The grapes for the Marc Bredif Chinon grow in the northern part of the Chinon area, in Savigny-en-Veron. The vineyards are principally gravelly and have mostly north and south sun exposure.\nWinemaking\nDe-stalked. Fermentation lasts 15 days on skins with pumping-over twice a day. Pressing and final fermentation of clear juice. Transferred to vats for malolactic fermentation. Maturing in stainless-steel tanks with regular racking.
