In the Roaring Twenties, the winemakers of the Southern Rhone joined forces to produce delicious wines and sell them to the metropolis of Paris. Demand was high. The Parisian bistro scene boomed, artists, intellectuals and bohemians from all over the world populated the small restaurants to philosophize endlessly over simple dishes. Wine also flowed freely, especially the wine from the south, which went so perfectly with the bistro cuisine and its guests. Almost a hundred years later, a new generation of winemakers took up the thread and continued the story, with juicy, fruity Cotes du Rhone full of charm and joie de vivre. The name, Les Dauphins, is a tribute to the old name of their home region, the Dauphine, which included today's departments of Isere, Drome and Hautes-Alpes in the southeast of France.
