It is made with 100% Colorado-grown sugarcane and has a rich, smooth flavor with notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak.From Colorado's Montanya comes Valentia Rum, released to celebrate women in the spirits industry. Valentia means "courage" and "grit" in Spanish, and spent its first three and a half years of ageing in American white oak barrels, before it was transferred for a finish in rye whiskey barrels from Catoctin Creek. A rather dry tipple, perhaps one for whiskey lovers that are wanting to segue into the world of rum! This certainly would shine with a splash of ginger beer.
